ACT2Teach: Alternative Certification for Teachers
About ACT2Teach Exploring Teaching Getting Started Preparing to Teach Teaching Skills Assessment FAQ

time and cost

Taking the TSAP gives you 6-8 hours of online assessment of competencies related to classroom teaching. The TSAP was designed based upon a process used in a face-to-face assessment center for beginning alternative certification program teachers. The on-line conversion of this intensive and expensive process allows you to have the benefits of attending an executive-style assessment center in the convenience of your own home or office, managing your own time to complete it, and for a fraction of the usual cost of an assessment center.

Time Required: 6-8 hours for all seven instruments. Because you control how long you need to respond to questions, time required to complete will vary. However, you can stop the assessment at any time and return later to continue your activity. You determine how much time you spend at any one sitting.

Cost: Cost of the TSAP is only $79 if you are accessing it on the Act2Teach Web site. This fee includes your Score Report, your Summary Report describing your score and its meaning, and the Action Plan, the document providing you with guidelines you can use to strengthen your skills and knowledge.

Commercial rate for the TSAP is $99. Discounts for volume use are available.

Take the TSAP!
