The ideas presented in this section are designed to enhance your understanding of today’s classroom. Perhaps more important, they will help you meet those expectations more effectively. Specifically, we provide:

• A Resource List and
• Five Development Tasks

Feel free to print a copy of the Resource List for your continued professional development.

Each Development Task includes a set of success criteria against which you may evaluate your end product. You are encouraged to complete several of the tasks and, whenever possible, ask someone else to evaluate your efforts and give you honest feedback. Remember that these activities, like those you would complete at any career transition or outplacement program, are for you and should help in both your decision making process and preparation for a new career.
